Thread Lifting
Face and Neck Thread Lifts (Lunchtime Facelift)
What Is a PDO Thread Lift?
A PDO Thread lift is a highly efficient non-surgical cosmetic technique considered the best alternative to the surgical facelift. This technique uses PDO Threads to reduce saggy skin and wrinkles. This procedure can be performed at your clinic in 20 to 45 minutes. The facial enhancement and rejuvenation effects can be seen immediately after the treatment is finished.
The PDO thread lift can be used in combination with other facial rejuvenation treatments to achieve better results.
Other common names for this cosmetic facial rejuvenation technique are non-surgical thread facelifts, one-stitch facelifts, lunch break facelifts, and non-surgical facelifts.

How Is the PDO Thread Lift Procedure Performed?
After clinical evaluation of the patient's concerned areas, the healthcare provider will suggest a thread lift procedure. The healthcare provider and the patient will discuss the therapeutic goals and identify the patient's main problematic areas.
- Our clinician will thoroughly clean the face and neck’s skin.
- The area to be treated will be numbed using topical or injected lidocaine or any other local anaesthetic.
- The PDO thread clinician will start inserting into the skin, just below its deepest layer, called the hypodermis, in the fat below the skin, called the subcutaneous tissue. Each PDO thread is inserted into the skin one at a time, using a micro-needle until all the areas are treated.
- The PDO thread clinician applies light pressure over each treated area to compress the skin and reshape it.
- The healthcare provider cleans the face and neck.
How Does A PDO Thread Lift Work?
This marvellous product works on different levels and acts for a long time to produce its effects mechanically, intracellular, and biologically.
Instant skin lifting is the fastest result; it is achieved by similar mechanical principles to tighten a rope. The inserted Polydioxanone PDO Thread is anchored to one point across the skin or scalp and mechanically tight and lifts the tissue on both ends.
Regenerative and cellular renewal. The PDO promotes the formation of new blood vessels, increasing microcirculation. Furthermore, it stimulates cellular tissue healing and repairing through collagen stimulation reshaping the threads’ surroundings. This effect occurs over the next 9 to 18 months after treatment.
Skin Tightening, it is achieved by the stimulation of a cellular group responsible for collagen production called Fibroblast localised in the fat tissue below the skin. The new collagen produces contraction and reorganisation of the fat tissue or subcutaneous tissue.
